About Us
Ann Arnold is a still life painter showing at the North Point Gallery in San Francisco and a children's book author and illustrator. At present she is completing a biography for Farrar, Straus and Giroux entitled Seacows, Shamans and Scurvy: Alaska's First Naturalist -- Georg Wilhelm Steller.
Linda Elvira Piedra is a photographer working at home and in Southeast Asia with a large format camera. Her photographs can be seen at: www.lindaelvirapiedra.com. Her interest in breeding tree peonies has recently taken her to Linwood Gardens in upstate New York where she spent the spring photographing many beautiful specimens. Her photographs illustrate this website.
Lauren Shi will soon be joining her husband Dr. Michael Shi as a traditional Chinese doctor in the Wellspring Clinic in Berkeley. As a native of China she is prepared to navigate the intricacies of Chinese business decorum in search of the best and most ecologically responsible fabric.
